BURCOTT, a hamlet in Dorchester parish, Oxford; on the river Thames, 5 miles E by S of Abingdon. Acres, 1,550. Real property, £1,204. Pop., 172. Houses, 49. It has sometimes been regarded as a parish. Burcott House is the chief residence.
